The beginning of July was great! We ended June off with seeing Marie get baptized in Pennsylvania and started off July with a visit from Chad's parents. We are so lucky to have amazing family. We just enjoyed spending time with each other. Here are some of the highlights:
| The Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum |
We went to a lavender farm and it was so fun! There was great shade and stuff for the kids to play with. Lincoln loved cutting the lavender as well.
| A stroller is a must when picking lavender. |
| The kids would not cooperate with this one. |
| "umm-on!" meaning "come on" |
We also went to the Manassas National Battlefield. We spent about 5 hours walking around to all the sites and learning about the first battle of the Civil War.
| sometimes we frolic in battlefields.. |
It is always fun with these guys! They played endless board games with Lincoln and read endless books to Zalie. They are wonderful grandparents and we are so blessed to have them!
