Butler Reunion in Seattle

After two weeks in Utah and still without Chad, Emily and the kids drove with her parents and Gavin to Seattle, WA. It was a long drive, but we made it just fine. We went to Aaron and Mel's new house first and loved seeing them. Our kids loved each other and it was a great time.

Cousin snuggles :)
Once the rest of the family arrived, we did lots of fun things together. We first took a ferry to Kingston and spent the day there. We were quite the stroller brigade, and it was a lot of fun.

Phil n Ted double stroller are the best. things. ever.

Zalies' first time on a swing was at the park in Kingston.
We also went to downtown Seattle, added to the gum wall (so gross!), experienced the Pike's Place Market, ate delicious chowder, and ended up at the space needle.

We also spent a day at Lake Washington. It was so relaxing and nice to just spend time in the sand and water.

Freeman makes a great fill-in! ha

Lincoln's first time on a canoe!
After the lake, we went to Fremont to eat at Paseo and meet the troll.

We also spent a day hiking Cougar Mountain. There were 8 adults and 6 kids. Each kid was in a backpack. Surprisingly, they all loved it and it was fun!

We also went to see Snoqualamie Falls, and it was very pretty.

Seattle was a blast and it was so fun to spend time with the whole Butler Clan (minus Chad). Seattle is an awesome city and I'm excited for Aaron and Mel to live there the next 3 years! It's gorgeous and there's a ton to do. We'll have to visit them another time so Chad can go :)
