Why we love Lincoln

This past little while has been full of fun and wonderful things that have reminded us why we love Lincoln. He's started eating solid foods (remember the carrots on the ceiling) and it's always a battle to try and keep him clean. His favorite thing to do is grab the spoon in a death grip and try to feed himself. This normally results in a mess and a second spoon being used to do the actual feeding. Lincoln may also be the only native North Carolinian who doesn't like sweet potatoes.

When Lincoln's not busy making a mess of himself he likes to be curious. Who knew diaper boxes could be so much fun?

Some people always seem to lose their wallets, keys, or cell phone (Emily), but not Lincoln. He always loses his socks. Sometimes the pair will vanish, but more often they wriggle themselves off his feet one sock at a time.

Giraffe rider. What else needs to be said.

And last but not least, we love Lincoln because of his extraordinary ability to stick whatever he has in his hands in his mouth. Or in the event there's nothing in his hands to put in his mouth he just sticks his hand in there. Thank goodness we got him a duckie for bathtime so he has something to chew on while he's in the tub.
