Tour de France

So, before we get to the main attraction of this blog post we'll first have to review a bit about what we've done this week. We went to le Salève to look at the beautiful views of Geneva. The cable car ride up and back was rather spectacular.

Lincoln is 10 months going on 84.

Lincoln's first time on a slide!

While Chad was at school Emily and her parents went into Geneva and toured the UN building (as seen below).

Someone's thug high school students are
rubbing off on him.

And now... for the main event. We decided to go to Annecy (again, since we loved it so much the first time!) and unknowingly we booked our train there for the same day as le Tour de France. So, after getting there and waiting for several hours we saw France's most famous sporting event pass us by in 12 seconds. But, at least we got some cute pictures of Lincoln.

Waiting for the cyclists to pass.

Here they come.

There they go.

After watching the Tour de France pass us by, Emily and Chad decided to do le tour du lac and go around lake Annecy on rollerblades (well at least part of the way around).

And since we forgot to get a picture of the delicious ice cream we ate last time we had to buy more ice cream this time and get a picture (still the best ice cream we've ever had-sorry Aggie Ice Cream and BYU Creamery).

Best flavor? Pamplemousse!
