Lincoln turned one a week ago and he had a great day! It all started with breakfast in the high chair with his birthday hat. He ate a birthday banana. This kid LOVES bananas and can eat a whole one in less than 2 minutes.

This is the loot from Mom, Dad and both sets of Grandparents.

Here are his toys from family.
After opening up gifts from family and having a morning nap, we had a birthday party for him at the park down the street. It was his first experience with a balloon, and he loved playing with it. It occupied his for a while as we got everything set up.
The cake tasted a lot better than it looked. I made a strawberry cake because it sounded yummy. It wasn't until right before making it that I realized it would be a pink cake for my little boy's first birthday... oh well! It was good, and pink, but maybe it'll make him more sensitive?

He liked the cake, but was more interested in the cookies.
Lincoln got some awesome gifts from his friends in our ward and in his Dad's law school. This kid is so loved and is so grateful for all his new toys!

Lincoln and Kyle are such good friends!
This cozy coupe was a gift from Lincoln's Southern Auntie. He loves his car! He fills it with his toys and pushes it around the house. He also loves to get inside it and be pushed around by Mommy and Daddy.
It was a great first birthday! We're glad he made it through that first year alive :)
