Fun Times in Charlotte

When we found out we were leaving Charlotte, we decided to do as many fun things as we could before moving. Here are some of our adventures!

We went to an Estate Sale and they gave Lincoln a ton of toys. This rifle was his favorite, but sadly it bit the dust.
Just cleaning his gun.
When you live in NASCAR country, you have to see the raceway at least once. Chad took Lincoln on a man-date and they both loved it! Lincoln talked over and over about seeing all the racecars.

Zalie has learned to crawl up all the stairs, and does it any chance she can get!

"Who needs pants?"

Sidewalk chalk with a special appearance of the
 lumpy snowman.
Our stake had a Pioneer Day cookout on the 25th of July, so we went. It said to dress up, and we sure did (unlike everyone else). Emily sewed up this bonnet for Zalie and she looked so cute!

The pioneers had cheerios right?

We discovered the McDowell nature preserve with friends and Lincoln commandeered his friend's scooter for an hour.

Cutest little mother nature

Lincoln completed his Potty Training Sticker Chart! We are so proud of him! He's a champ!

Remember how my parents bought us a canoe, well we had to test it out after Chad took the BAR.  Chad did all the paddling, with help from Lincoln, while Emily relaxed and held Zalie. It was so nice!

The Bearden Park in uptown Charlotte is so awesome! It was a great way to relax on a Saturday night as a family. Lincoln loved the waterfall and playing ball with his Daddy. We've never seen a cleaner and nicer park right in the middle of the city.

We also went to Imagineon, and Lincoln loved the Clifford exhibit. We've sure enjoyed living in Charlotte and have done a lot of fun things. We thought we'd be here longer, but we are excited for all that DC will have to offer! T-minus 2 weeks until we move! Must.Pack.Must.Pack...

Cute Pictures! Lincoln needs a little work on his baseball swing, but he still has lots of time to make it to the pros.
