This is late! Here are the pictures from when Grandma and Grandpa Butler spent a couple weeks with us in Charlotte. It was so great having them here, and it gave Chad some quiet time to study for the BAR. And, we sure took advantage of the Butlers. Mom helped us make curtains for Lincoln's room and shelves for downstairs. They potty trained Lincoln, too! It was awesome! We went to Ikea, ate some 99¢ breakfast, and bought a special green potty. Then grandpa had Lincoln sitting on the potty for a couple hours listening to Born on the Bayou by Creedence Clearwater... that's the only way to do it!
We discovered the Charlotte Airport Lookout and watched airplanes take off and land. It was very cool.
On the 4th (Happy Birthday, Gavin!) we went garage sale-ing of course and then had a yummy cookout at Chad's boss's house. Yes, Chad was brave taking Papa Butler to meet his boss.
The Grandparents bought us ladder ball and we enjoyed playing for FHE!

We drove an hour to swim at Lake Norman. It was a warm lake and we all had a ton of fun! It's the largest man-made lake in NC.
We also drove out to the Blueridge Parkway and stood on the highest point east of the Mississippi!
It was hard to see them go because we had so much fun! We loved having the Butler's over and sure got spoiled! (Did I mention they bought us an 18 ft canoe?)
