The past year has been another eventful one for the Turner family:
- Emily’s freelance expose “How a House with Children Really Looks” was published in Better Homes & Gardens’ home decor section and in National Geographic’s wild nature section.
- Zalie’s first impressionist painting was sold by Sotheby’s to a Saudi prince.
- Lincoln’s athleticism continues to impress as he received official scholarship offers from several universities to compete in everything from fencing to shotput.
- Chad’s footwear line “Shoe-in” has become widely popular in Papua New Guinea.
- Lincoln lassoed a reindeer during our sejour in Iceland.
- Emily became an ASCE certified auto-mechanic and is now working on becoming a John Deere Tractor Technician.
- We went on a “corn-syrup as a required ingredient” diet. Fortunately, we didn’t have to change what we eat much.
- Zalie premiered in the Nutcracker ballet. Chad was responsible for the choreography.
- Lincoln coded his first app and subsequently turned down a job offer from Google because they didn’t have good enough snacks.
