This week Lincoln has been using the word "peoples" a lot, among other funny things. On Monday night we had FHE with a family that we go to Church with. They have six children and two gerbils and Lincoln was loving every minute of learning Scottish dancing and playing with their cars and legos. As we went home the Dad buckled Lincoln into the back seat and Lincoln kept saying "that guy buckled me in" while pointing to him.
This week Lincoln went to the dinosaur museum again, twice. We went on Tuesday and there were a lot of school-age children there. A group of boys were playing with the stuffed dino-babies, so Lincoln decided to join them. Then Lincoln sat on a bench and watched the preview for Ice Age that was playing. More boys joined him. After a few minutes the boys left and Lincoln sadly said "where my peoples go?" Emily had to explain to them that they had to go. Poor kid. Nobody likes it when their 'peoples' leave them! We also went to the museum on Friday with his buddy from Maryland. Lincoln was so excited to have a buddy that he'd take off running saying "let's go!" He thought the buddy would just run along with him. It was funny to see Lincoln realize that not all kids run around crazy like he does.

| Lincoln was a little scared of this dinosaur. Too close to his size. |

One day Emily was taking care of Zalie and Lincoln was quiet in the other room. Normally that means he's up to no good, but when Emily came out she found him curled up under a blanket reading a book in Zalie's car seat. What a goof!
On Saturday we went to "Europe's largest open-air market" (Chad is convinced that every European city tries to claim its market is the largest). What should have been a 30 minute walk turned into an hour and a half walk and a 10 minute tram ride as we got lost along the way. On the bright side, we saw a whole lot more of the Hague than we otherwise would have.
We didn't find much of interest at the market, but on the way back we stopped at a little park that had rabbits, cows, sheep, goats, and chickens. Lincoln loved seeing the animals and getting out of his stroller to run around.

One day during Chad's wonderfully long lunch break (seriously, how did he ever eat lunch in less than an hour-and-a-half before?) we all met at the Primark where Emily let Chad purchase a €55 suit (about $63). Because everyone in the Netherlands seems to be tall and skinny, it was no trouble at all to find a jacket and pants that fit perfectly with no altering needed.

| Emily told Chad to do a GQ pose. Chad laughed and did this, which looks more like the cover of a CLE magazine than anything. |
