This week was Chad's Fall Break. He got a good amount of work done and we had lots of fun and watched lots of movies at night (Emily thinks Star Wars Episode III is a good metaphor for life, ya know-aliens, buzz droids, and that type of stuff).
Anyway, we have been faithfully brushing Lincoln's teeth at night before bed and one night he decided to brush Emily's teeth while she was going after his.

Thanks to glowing recommendations from Robert, and the fact that we were already in Greensboro, we went to Hanging Rock State Park. The day was cool and the leaves were beautiful. We did two hikes. One was about three-tenths of a mile and took us to a cool waterfall and the other was quite a bit longer and led us to a beautiful view (which we did not get to see, as the pictures below will illustrate).

| Hey, is that rock hanging? |

| The amazing view of the hills around the park... er... the fog covering the hills around the park. |
On the way back Chad's shoulders were sore from the straps of Lincoln's backpack digging into them. Lincoln's posture wasn't helping much. The little guy was reclined and loving making Dad do all the work.
