Land of Industry

At the end of June, we went to Utah for a quick visit.  We saw both our families, and Lincoln loved all the attention from both sets of grandparents.

Here he is super excited before leaving for Utah!
We started the trip in Alpine, UT to visit with Emily's family. Grandpa Butler was excited about his new kite and loved having Lincoln help out with it! It was fun to watch Grandpa attempt to fly the kite.

We also got to visit with Devan, Rachel, Livvy, Freeman, Great-grandparents' Butler, and Coco. It was so nice to see everyone!

After a few days, we met up with the Turner side (after indulging in the 99 cent breakfast at Ikea). One of the things we did was spend a day at the Willow Park Zoo in Logan. Emily felt at home when she saw some emus. (She may or may not have had a pet Emu in High School...)

We took Lincoln bowling for the first time in Ogden. He loved it, but was sad to see the balls go. He wanted to keep them. He also loved the arcade games at the bowling alley and spent a lot of time sitting on the cars.

He sure loved spending time with all his Utah cousins. It was so fun to see him interact with them and just play with them. He got sick the last few days we were in Utah, but recovered once we were back home.
