Chad's parents came in on December 30th and the next day we went to a Duke basketball game. Needless to say, we converted Chad's parents to the ways of the Cameron Crazies pretty easily. Duke whomped Wofford and Lincoln loved watching basketball from his Grandma and Grandpa's laps. As an aside, Justise Winslow and Jahlil Okafor are the real deal.
Lincoln and Zalie loved having Grandma and Grandpa in town. Somehow a Curious George book is even better when it's read to you while you're snuggling in a "devil blankie" with Grandpa.
The day after New Years more of Chad's family came to Bull Durham. His two brothers living on the east coast and their families came down to spend a few days with us and to participate in Zalie's baby blessing. Together we visited Duke campus and the sports museum, Raleigh's museum of Natural Sciences, and Pullen Park.
