This week was a blast! We had a lot of activities planned, and none disappointed. We're starting to love this city, because there is so much to do!
On Wednesday, Emily, Lincoln, and Zalie went to the library for "Nationale Voorleesdagen" otherwise known as the National Reading Days. We celebrated with breakfast, a book reading, and activities. Lincoln loved the food, and KEPT ON EATING! Every picture from this event shows Lincoln holding food.

We had no idea what the book was about, or what the actress who read it was saying, so Lincoln stole someone's cracker and helped himself.

Sometimes we match. Zalie definitely wears it better!
We set up the toy bar on Zalie's bed (AKA her box). Lincoln thought it was awesome and hopped right in with her. Here he is showing her the balloon he got at the library.
On Friday, Emily decided to take the scenic route to Museon (the Dinosaur museum) and walked 3.6 km instead of the measly 1.7 km. (Luckily, Chad was able to give her good directions). This museum is AWESOME! It has dinosaur robots that move, open their mouths, blink, and roar. It was like a real-life Jurassic Park. Lincoln was only a little scared at first, but then he just thought they were cool.

This museum also had some cool themed rooms. This one is all about road kill.
Another themed room was all about earthquakes and volcanoes. They had a working volcano, simulated earthquakes, and tons of neat pictures.

Oh, you know, just trying to take over the world!
After not napping after the museum. Lincoln got to read books to his best buddy in NC. It was so much fun!
After Lincoln's nap on Saturday, we thought "what the heck, we'll go to this weird communications museum." It's about 2 blocks from our apartment and we did not know what to expect.
We are so glad we went, because it was amazing! It included dress ups:
A plethora of phone booths and photo ops:
A rocket ship in space:
A kitchen pantry:
Some huggable colorful geese:
A phone tree:
