On our last Saturday in the Netherlands, we decided to check out Delft. It was a quick tram ride away and it was a great place to visit! Per norm, is was rainy and cold. We're pretty sure that every Saturday we've been here has had less than desirable weather. But, there's not much we can do about that.

The tomb of William of Orange.
There was a living store-front parade where we saw people dress up, parade through the square, and then go to their shops. It was fun to find all the shops and see people dressed up throughout the day. The couple on stilts sung to Lincoln later in the day. He loved it!

Notice the new stroller? Emily may or may not have left our old stroller on the sidewalk. It took an hour for it to be stolen. Good one, Netherlands!

Automatic photos by a weird museum camera are pretty cool too, though.

A little cartography?-Of course not, it's snowman drawin' time!
All in all we had a great time visiting the New Church (where the House of Orange is buried-like all of them from William himself to some royal buried there in 2008), the Old Church (where Vermeer and other people are buried), a local museum that is also the place William of Orange was shot and killed, and a shop where Chad bought more le coq sportif gear than he probably should have.
Goodbye Delft and Goodbye the Netherlands. You will be missed!
